Review of our Troy Tours Classic of Turkey Tour Last month we returned from Classic Turkey Tour with Troy Tours. Our trip was Nov 2-16, 2012. I booked my trip online. It was very easy to book. It is just a few simple steps on Troy Tours secure website. When I had a follow questions Can Cetin of Troy Tours was wonderful, helpful, personable and totally professional. I took Turkish Airlines nonstop flight from JFK. Turkish Airlines was great, comfortable and had plenty of delicious meals and free drinks. I booked Troy Tours Classic Turkey with the recommendation of our friends they took the same tour last year. This was only our 3rd bus tour and we have no problems we enjoy it a lot. We had 26 friendly travel companions of the bus we made a lot of friends. Hotels exceeded our expectations especially Charisma Hotel in Kusadasi was our favorite. It is located on the water. We stayed at Ocean front room. Loved it!. On this Classic Turkey tour we covered roughly 2000 miles. It is a voyage through the History and civilizations. It is simply amazing. Our tour bus was very comfortable with plenty of leg room and reclining seats thus we had the chance to stretch our legs. The bus was also very clean and in superb condition. There were 45 seats on the bus so everyone who wanted a window seat was able to find one. This is a big plus for Troy Tours. I can’t say enough about our guide “Mine”. She is well educated with commending English and she has vast knowledge of Turkey. Most important of all she loves what she is doing and very kind and personable. This was a great experience with Troy Tours and it was beyond our expectations. We stayed at top notch hotels, top notch guide and transportation. Over all this tour is a great value for the price.

I recently returned from the May 2012" Classic Turkey" tour by Troy Tours of Los Angeles. There were 28 sociable people in our group so we all laughed a lot. The tour was fantastic--we saw and experienced so many different parts of Turkey which is a beautiful and interesting country. Istanbul, Mediterranean and Agean coasts, Ephesus and Cappadocia were some of the highlights for me. I only wish we had more time to explore in each location. It was so nice to have that last free day in Istanbul. Our guide, Erkal, was great and very knowledgeable. There were a couple of long days on the bus but we covered so much territory. Also, I am not a big fan of the "shopping stops" but they seem to be a staple of any group tour. Turkish airlines was great--good food and service. I would recommend this tour to anyone. Can: We cannot thank you enough for the remarkable tour you gave us through Turkey. Everyone had stellar comments and reactions during and after we returned last Wed night. Erkal was the greatest and we made him part of our family. Jelan the driver was the best --- friendly, helpful and what a driver! I have attached an article of reflections that I wrote for our Dec. church newsletter. We will probably do something in Jan/Feb to share the trip with the many in our congregation who did not go but who are waiting anxiously to hear more about the trip. My husband and I took the 15 day Classic Turkey Tour in September of 2012 based on a TripAdvisor review. The tour was a great value. Prices included 4 and 5 star hotels with great locations. The food was excellent and choices appealed to all tastes. However, the shining point of the tour package was that included all sightseeing and admission fees, nothing was optional. We had a very informative English-speaking guide (Yeliz) with a firm grasp of Turkish history and culture. She was an absolute treasure. We highly recommend this tour without any hesitation.
